How Is It Done?

Did you know that Crazy-Quilting began 1,000 years ago with the debut of the zany harlequin character?
It all starts with choosing a bunch of wild fabrics. Then I sew seams on the underside of each meeting point.
It's truly luscious - just ask Elvis!
When all undersides have been sewn, I add the top stitching at each juncture.
Many projects are done in small squares (as shown here) but some call for larger panels.
The sewing machine insures durability on the top seams...
...but it also adds great style, with interesting stitches connecting fabrics.
Now it's time for hand embellishments!
Now that my "new" fabulous fabric is made, it's time to START the sewing project!
